Pantone has officially announced the color of the year for 2019 – it’s Living Coral! With the weather warming up and neutral color palettes transitioning out, we’re seeing more brides pick bright shades for their big day. Whether you’re looking to create a bold tablescape or add just a touch of brightness to a softer setting, coral is the perfect hue.
Here are a few of our favorite ways to incorporate the color of the year on your big day!
A simple way to bring a pop of coral to your event space is with floral arrangements. Adding a few different shades to the mix to complement the coral helps create depth and puts this hue center stage. This color packs a powerful punch, so sticking with neutral chairs like our Natural X-backs, Whitewash Chloe or our Ghost Chair will showcase this bold shade without overwhelming the table.
If you don’t want to take the full plunge into coral, you can still add subtle hints of the hue with a soft ombrè effect. Easily recreate this elegant reception with either our Gold Chivari or Gold Napoleon Chair.
Another fun way to include coral at your event is with your menu! Signature drinks and a colorful cake will instantly brighten up your tabletop. Bring these images to life with our Mason Jars and Gold Cake Stand.
We have a feeling that this bright hue is going to be a hit for spring and summer weddings, and we can’t wait to see how our brides add coral to their space. For more styling inspiration, be sure to follow us on Facebook + Instagram.

Behind every EventWorks rental item, there is a team that works diligently to maintain the quality of our products. And, with a whole line of custom created rental inventory in our fabrication shop, we ensure that our unique pieces are built with the finest craftsmanship.
Our fabrication team was born out of the dream to supply our clients with one-of-a-kind pieces and consistently grow our inventory. From building simple tables to creating beautiful custom bars, our talented team does it all!
It all started with Mr. Mike, the father-in-law of our co-owner Jeff Shavelson. He founded the fabrication department and has built a number of cornerstone pieces for EventWorks over the years, including our farm tables, bar stools, plank tables, and bookcases - all are still popular rental items for our clients.
Today, the fabrication team works to build new exciting pieces that top the trends from past events. Most recently the team has built new wooden uprights for outdoor lighting, antique mirror inserts (as another customizable option for our chameleon bars) and fun entertainment items like our giant Jenga set.
At EventWorks, we our proud to provide our clients with high-quality crafted products that can withstand a high volume of events. When the fabrication team isn’t busy creating new pieces to add to our inventory, they work hard to maintain the quality of our current inventory. They repaint chairs, repair broken legs, shine up small scratches, and give our most popular products the love they need to look brand new at every event.
So who’s behind all of these handcrafted products? Meet Zack and Kevin! Both have been part of the EventWorks team for several years and got their start in the furniture business by learning from family members. Kevin learned how to build things at an early age from his great-grandfather Ralph and Zack grew up learning alongside his dad. Some of their proudest pieces to have built, include our Mahogany five tap bar and our new Mahogany round bars.
The fabrication team is always in conversation with our owners about current inventory needs and what they envision for our next exciting piece. Some exciting ideas being circulated currently include round farm tables and marble bars for the EventWorks collection.
We are so grateful for our fabrication shop experts and all that they do to provide our clients with reliable, quality rentals. We want each piece to feel brand new and special for our clients and we couldn’t do that without Zack and Kevin!

Team has been hard at work this season adding new custom pieces to our collection of bars and facades. Many of our clients are including a custom bar piece to make their event feel truly unique and memorable for their guests. Whether your style is beachy, boho, rustic, casual or luxe, our custom pieces will compliment both the theme of your event and vibe of the venue.
Our bars are both functional and stylish, so you’ll have plenty of space to serve up sips and still have an eye catching focal point for your event. Show off your style and impress your guests with one of these unique bars.
Our White Half Moon Bar remains a client favorite, so we decided it needed to come in mahogany too! Round bars are a great option for large beverage services and add a sleek look to any backdrop.
Our Mahogany Antique Mirror is the newest addition to our line of Chameleon bars. This style adds a nice rustic, vintage touch and is perfect for serving up a signature cocktail.
With the craft beer craze still on the rise, our 5 Tap Craft Beer bar is the perfect way to debut your favorite signature brews.
Our bars are built specifically to service events of all sizes. If your venue has some space limitations, no need to fret! Go for our 8 foot White Plantation bar which can be used for multiple beverage service stations.
We are also thrilled to introduce the latest addition to the EventWorks collection that will take front stage - literally! Our new customizable stage facades include an array of inserts to give your event a sophisticated and personalized look. Just like our Chameleon Bars, we will be able to match the stage at your venue with other accents for a seamless look at your event.
We are excited to share all of these stunning pieces with our clients this season and see our bars and facades in action at many ‘hoppy’ celebrations!

Spending time with her husband and French Bulldog puppy, Theodore
Baking up some delicious treats
Or cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers and the Charleston Battery
We are so excited to welcome Sunny to our team!
