New Outlook, New Approach & Fresh Style

Right now is a time of uncertainty and adjustment in the events community and, more expansively, across the globe. While no one is exactly sure what will happen next, we are certain of one thing - we are all in this together and we will pull through. And one day, hopefully, sooner than later, we will celebrate, socialize and gather together again. There will be more happy couples celebrating with their loved ones, more conferences sharing the next generation of knowledge, and more dancing at music festivals.

We have always taken pride in providing our clients with high-quality products at Eventworks. Now we are taking our commitment of quality to the next level. We’re implementing new processes to ensure that all of our items are properly handled and disinfected between uses. We are also adding products like hand sanitizer stations to our line of inventory and offering our tents and other rental items to hospitals, government agencies, emergency services, and restaurants.

These unprecedented times have impacted us all in ways we never anticipated. Our team is using this time as an opportunity to connect one-on-one with our clients and purchase new items for our warehouse. It is spring after all, and we’re excited to see so many new styles and products hitting the market. We’re already envisioning these rental items at events in the future!

Chameleon Grey Bar

Our Chameleon Bars have always been a crowd favorite and are named for their chameleon-like ability to fit any event space. Our clients loved the White and Mahogany options so much, we decided to add another color to the collection. Meet our Chameleon Grey Bar. This piece pairs perfectly with our Boxwood Insert, Antique Mirror Insert, and our brand new scalloped-edge bar, the Grey and White Mirabelle Bar.

Hand Sanitizer Stations

As we begin to gather again for events, we recognize the need for new sanitary precautions. EventWorks will now be offering hand sanitizer stations to help keep your guests safer and healthier. These stations come prefilled with hand sanitizer that meets CDC guidelines. They are easy to set up and quick to use—cutting down on bathroom lines and paper towels! They are perfect for large gatherings and any events serving food and beverages.

Real Wedding Feature: Ashley & Brian’s Summertime Ceremony at Harrietta Plantation

Ashley and Brian tied the knot on a warm June afternoon at the historic Harietta Plantation. The couple showcased the beauty of their venue and incorporated hints of Charleston throughout their event. Nods of blues, elegant details, and a stunning Sailcloth Tent lining the sky makes this southern wedding one for the books!

Standing since 1704, Harrietta Plantation is rich in history and natural beauty. Riding down the long driveway lined with Spanish moss feels like a scene right of the movies. The property’s lush landscaping and aged details make it a beautiful setting for a wedding.

Guests took their seats and observed the ceremony from the comfort of our White Garden Chairs. The simple and classic style of these chairs paired perfectly with the elegant details of the house and lush green backdrop. The stunning setting was captured in a live-painted portrait to hang in the couple’s home forever!

To beat the heat, guests sipped on fresh citrus cocktails from our Highball and Old-Fashioned Glasses and drank chilled champagne from our Pure Champagne Flutes. The couple provided guest seating during cocktail hour using our 48” Round Tables and Antique Infinity Chairs. It’s always nice to have a place for guests to sit during extended cocktail hours or when serving heavy hors d’oeuvres and appetizers.

When it was time to make their way to the reception, guests walked up to an incredible view of a Sailcloth Tent. We love this tent style, because it makes an impression from every angle and creates a breathtaking atmosphere. The translucent canopy top allows natural light to soak through during the day, which adds a warm glow to the entire space.

Under the tent, guest tables were lined with our Antique Infinity Chairs. The chairs’ wood tones complemented the delicate floral centerpieces and candles.

The table settings were simple and clean to keep the focus on the other décor and beautiful surroundings. The tables were set with our Magnolia China and Estate Tumbled Flatware and topped with a Linen Napkin.

One of the Sailcloth Tent’s best features is its layout. The tent’s shape and center poles add separation between the dining area and the party. Guest seating typically wraps the outer edge of the tent, so the bar and dance floor become the focal point of the space. This layout gives all guests a view of the wedding festivities throughout the evening, and everyone can catch a glimpse of the couple’s first dance from the comfort of their seats.

In the middle of the tent, the couple used multiple pieces of our Halfmoon Round Bar to create a 360-degree spot for their guests to grab a drink. They also chose the Birchwood + White Dance floor to complement the Sailcloth Tent’s wood poles.

Lounge seating is a key element of any successful event. A great lounge area gives guests a place to relax once dinner has wrapped and a spot to catch their breath after busting a move on the dance floor. For this lounge arrangement, the couple used our Sophie Glass Coffee Tables. These tables are extremely versatile, but we most often see them paired with our Antoinette Lounge and Adele Sofa + Chair.

Our Champagne Tower isn’t just for cocktail hour – the couple’s party favors looked great on this display! They gifted their guests with personalized venue candles, so everyone could take a little piece
of Charleston home with them.

The reception only grew more beautiful when the sun went down. As the night continued with drinks, dancing and fun, our Café Lighting added a glow to the tent and lit up the night sky.

We were so happy to be a part of Ashley and Brian’s wedding day! Congrats to the happy couple.

Staff Spotlight: Brandon

We are so excited to introduce Brandon to the EventWorks team! Over the past year, he has been working tirelessly to get the new Jacksonville location up and running.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, Brandon got an early start inthe tent and party industry. He eventually made his way to work for our sister company, Peachtree Tents and Events in January of 2011. This past year, he was
promoted to Director of Operations for the Jacksonville location and began preparing for his role by visiting our existing locations and learning about all of our processes.

Brandon is most excited about the new inventory (especially the farm tables that he helped build) and sharing what we do best with Jacksonville and surrounding areas! He plans on making EventWorks Jacksonville
the biggest and best party rental store in the Florida market has ever seen!

When Brandon isn’t at EventWorks, you will find him with his three boys and wife! They love to travel together and grow their very own peppers for the Brantley family hot sauces. On the weekends, you’ll catch them cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, and Atlanta Falcons.

We are thrilled to welcome Brandon to the EventWorks family and look forward to celebrate his many accomplishments!

We are excited to announce the opening of our newest

EventWorks location in Jacksonville, Florida. Since we started EventWorks almost ten years ago, it was always a dream to bring our quality of service and products to the entire Southeast. This new location has allowed us to push forward with that dream in an entirely new region! We are proud of what we have been able to do with our clients in Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and Savannah and feel incredibly excited to work alongside new clients in Jacksonville and surrounding areas for their events and rental needs.

Our Jacksonville team has worked hard to bring the EventWorks experience into fruition, and are ready to take on this next year. Unlike other rental showrooms, Jacksonville will be supported with its own resources to provide our clients with the same unmatched quality and service our other locations have been able to provide over the years.This location is a full service operation with tenting, linen and dish cleaning, furniture, dance floors, and much more.

We couldn’t have picked a better area to bring our newest location than the warm and inviting city of Jacksonville! We look forward to working with you all and seeing what we can do in Jacksonville.
